I'm 14, almost 15. This has gone on since I was anywhere from 5-9 when I was at the San Diego zoo with my mom and my mom told me to take a "mental snapshot" of the koala since we didn't have a camera. I pretended my eyes were a camera. Since then, I frequently say in my head "ready set go" as if I am filming my life? It's odd. I've never heard of anyone doing this. And if I do something weird, I will say "cut erase and go" to start it over. I know I am not filming or being filmed but I don't know why I have this compulsive need to do this. I will do it when I know something cool will e happening or even just before a regular conversation with one of my friends. It's become an everyday thing or at least multiple times a week. OCD? I have no idea. HELP

Hiya

You really shouldnt worry about this, if anything, its quite a nice little thing.

You probably do it because you have fond memories of when you first did it, (your zoo experience with your mum).

Things like this are great to have because it keeps memories with you at all times.

I have an odd one where when it snows I will sit at the window and sing "let it snow let it snow let it snow"! and I am 20!!!

Don't worry about it at all.

It's a great way to remember things and notice when nice, amusing or amazing things are happening :)

Keep smiling and appreciate yourself for being you and not worrying that youre strange :)
