HI, IM 21 YEARS OLD. I WORK OUT AND EAT SOME WHAT HEALTHY. WHEN IM NOT THINKING ABOUT THE BILLS, WORRYING ABOUT SICK MOM, AND KEEPING MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MY PARTNER STEADY, THE ONLY THING I HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IS BREATHING? IS THIS NORMAL? IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME. THIS IS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE MARCH AND ITS NOW JULY. IVE TALKED TO A DOCTOR AND SHE RULED IT OUT AS ANXIETY BUT DID NOT CONSIDER PUTING ME ON ZANEX OR ANY OTHER ANXIETY MEDICATION, AND I DONT WANT TO BE ON MEDS. IM JUST LOOKING FOR A WAY TO DEAL WITH THIS BREATHING ISSUE. IM ALWAYS BLOATED. AND IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE THREW A BOWLING BALL AT MY STOMACH. PLEASE HELP.

Okay, first off, the doctor is right, you do have a lot of anxiety. You are probably just thinking about your breathing because you just have too much on your mind. When you start to think about breathing, take a deep breath and just relax, think of something else for a change, think of good things, or maybe even think of good childhood memories! As far as the bloating and the bowling ball part, that is anxiety as well. Just try to leave a time in your day to have fun, or do whatever you want to do, it is a good therapy and a good way to help keep your anxiety down. Also, try to get a good amount of sleep each night, about 9-11 hours each might. I know people say it is 8-10, but recently, I have seen something that people under the age of 30 need more sleep that just 8 hours. If that does not help, just reply back and talk with us. I hope this helps, and that you will find help if it doesn't! I will be praying for you! May the Lord God, and Christ Jesus be with you and help you out in this time of need!
