I had a microscopic varicolectomy 31 days ago on a left varicocele and I still feel the same veins as before. I saw my surgeon two weeks ago and he said that he tied and cut off 3 veins. He said it was fine, but two weeks later it feels like the veins are getting bigger and filled with more blood. Is it possible for varicoceles to come back after being cut? Also, does masturbation make the situation worse? My surgeon said no intercourse for 21 days and I figured that meant masturbation as well, so I didn't risk anything until the 21 days passed. I have a checkup in 2 months to see if my testosterone levels rose, I'm just worried I'm going to have to go through another surgery.
