I accidentally sliced my finger with a kitchen knife and had 3 stitches however after 4 weeks the wound has healed but I have pins and needles in my finger and still cannot bend it as I used to. How long for deep cuts to heal and will I get back feeling in my finger?

I had a really bad finger cut 3 years ago, so I can't remember the details but it was definitely longer than 4 weeks. I seem to remember having issues for 2-3 months :-(

You have to understand that finger cuts are not as simple as they look like. I think that you have cut your finger little too deep and that you needed to go for a scan in order to see if you fractured your bone. I don’t know if your doctor mentioned this as an option? I think that pins and needles might be connected with some damage to your bones or nerves in your finger. Your wound is still not healed completely and you have to know that you need to wait little more in order for the wound to heal completely. I hope that this helped a bit.
