Hi I'm 21 and have problems down there with itching iv been using different creams it just takes its time to go away iv been trying to figure out what's causing it because it comes and goes at its own time

Hi, it could be caused by something your using causing an allergic reaction without you realising, do you have any other symptoms?

This is not uncommon, and is often due to thrush – a common fungal infection (or yeast infection). Nearly always, other parts of the vulva and vagina will also be affected, usually accompanied by a whitish discharge. If this is the case, it can easily be treated with anti-fungal medications. Any sexual partner should also then be treated.
