Hi I'm a 13 year old girl and I haven't been able to sleep at night I try laying on my stomach right side and left but only my left side is bearable. My stomach hurts really bad at night and during the night it's more of by my ribs I don't know what it could be I drink water when I wake up in the middle of the night and go to the bathroom I really need help this has been happening for about 8 days

How is your stomach pain during the day? Are you able to eat anything and how is your appetite? Is it your right side that hurts worse? It could be a problem with your liver as this rests below your lower ribs. You don't remember bruising this area recently doing an activity or falling? An assessment from the doctor will determine if this is something that needs to be looked into more thoroughly. At your age, I can't imagine it being anything too serious, but it is a good idea to have it looked into. Let me know how it goes at the doctor!
