Hey, I'm fairly new to regular running and to be honest do not enjoy it thoroughly. My problem is that I do play college baseball and in the fall we have a mandatory fitness assessment where to begin practicing we have to cover 2 miles in under 15 minutes. My problem is that I usually avoid running to get into shape and find other alternatives and am not having huge amounts of success with my attempts to reach that benchmark.
Currently I am running my two miles in 15 minutes and 28 seconds. My question is that I i keep running maybe monday through saturday or try to find maybe 2 days off a week (not consecutive) will i bee able to cut that 28 seconds or possibly more by the times the fitness test comes in exactly 2 weeks?
