Dear Guest, Any time one plays around with their birth control there is always a pregnancy risk. Just so you know that. The obvious sign of pregnancy is a missed period but there are a few other early clues (sometimes) One of the first clues could be that your breasts become sore and tender, the areola (dark part of the nipple) gets darker, lethargy is obvious, an increase in appetite could occur, morning sickness, either in the morning, afternoon or evening. I don't know why it's called morning sickness as it can happen at any time of the day. Frequent urination and sometimes constipation. Food odors can upset your stomach.
If you think you could be pregnant, you should probably grab an in home pregnancy test so you can put your mind at ease, one way or the other. If it comes up negative, ask your doctor if he could put you on a pill called Seasonique. It's a birth control pill that allows you to have your period only 4 times a year, every 3 months, winter, spring, summer and fall, hence the name Seasonique.
I wouldn't deliberatly mess with my pills to avoid having a period. I know that it's a pain the neck every month. Now that the summer is here who wants to be slowed down by that pain. There is an alternative for you and it's better that messing with the exact thing that is going to keep you from an untimely pregnancy.
