How could hormones cause flutters? And all of the other symptoms? I don't understand why doctors and nurses won't listen to women when they are in tune with their bodies and know that something is up. I have been feeling stronger and more frequent movements, and my belly continues to grow... I can also feel things in my lower abdomen. The other night, I was in the tub, and feeling around, and I felt something that felt like a head or something. It was like a tiny ball, and then it moved away. I just can't wait to get to my general doc and find out what is going on...

Yes, men can have "sympathy" symptoms. My fiance has been having them along with me too. I haven't been able to wear blue jeans in about a month because my belly has gotten too big. I have to wear stretchy pants, and they aren't maternity, so they are starting to get tight on me. Sorry if this is tmi, but my man is enjoying the hormones that are making me want him all the time. :)

Well, I went to my gp today, and she said it sounds like I am pregnant. She ordered a quantitative blood test, and I'm waiting on my results.

So I got my results today, and they told me it was <2, which means not pregnant. I think it's wrong. My belly is getting bigger, I'm feeling movement, and wanting sex a lot, which is not like me at all. I haven't had a period since Feb. 1st, so I don't know. But I feel like I'm pregnant. This would be my 4th child, so I've been through it a few times. Time will tell, I guess.

Oh really? What kind of an exam was it? I haven't really had an exam. My doc just pushed on my belly some. I guess she was feeling for abnormalties. She's not an ob, so I guess she didn't want to do an interanl exam because she wouldn't know what to feel for. Although, she's the one that does my pap smears. I guess I'll just have to wait until I get a clear positive hpt, and if I don't get that, I'll be delivering, and then people will say, "hey, she was pregnant after all". My mom and my sister don't believe that I am. My mom had 5 babies, and my sister had 4. I have explained to them what has been going on, and they think that since my blood tests are negative, that I'm not pregnant.

And I told my mom wat was goin on an she just tells me to go to the doc. So was it a vaginal exam too? I know when you are examined vaginally, they can feel your uterus. I don't know why your stomach is hurting like that, though. I hope I don't deliver w/o knowing either. That would really suck.

Yes it was a vagina exam he felt the uterus. In Jan. I had a faint positive an then a few mins. Later neg. I told the nurse abt severe headaches lasting days so went to ER an got a shot which didn't help. An now I'm having empty feelings an always hungry.
