I'm glad I found this online for him I swear to God I thought it was dying. Nobody tells you the risks of this device. I'm sure anybody who says this hasn't hurt them has never had this implanted a.k.a. the Doctor Who prescribed it to you. I know they are doing it to rule out a bunch of other things but had they told me the implications and how incredibly bad this was going to hurt and they also lied this does not fall off in 48 hours the sensor stops working in 48 hours this takes 5 to 10 days to fall off. I would never have done this. I can't imagine how much weight I'm going to lose because of this thing. It hurts to even breathe or drink. Forget eating. It feeling like somebody is trying to rip your esophagus open. I repeat. Really weight the pros of this before you agree to it just because your doctor thinks it a good idea. For me. Not worth it. I would have tried everything possible before this device had somebody told me the actual pain involved

I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience with the Bravo pH test. It is important for patients to be fully informed about any medical procedure or test they are undergoing, including the risks and potential side effects. Patients have the right to ask their doctor questions and voice any concerns they may have before agreeing to any procedure.

The Bravo pH test is a diagnostic test used to measure the amount of acid reflux in the esophagus over a period of time. While the test can be uncomfortable, it is generally considered safe and effective for diagnosing acid reflux and other related conditions.

It is also important to follow any post-procedure instructions and report any concerning symptoms to your healthcare provider. I would encourage you to discuss your concerns and experiences with your doctor and seek their advice on any next steps or alternative options.
