About 2 years ago i begin getting sick after eating certain things and lost tons of weight(50lbs). I had all kinds of allergy symptoms including constant runny nose, red eyes, itchy tongue and throat, sneezing, itching all over,Dandruff(which i never had). Swollen Lymph node, 2 ulcers after a upper episcopy. Depending on what i eat achy bones the next day, excessive urination. All of this and at the time i was only 35. I am about to turn 37 and i just as recent as 3 months ago received relief. Someone told me about The ALCAt test. Please google this test. It was basically a life saver for me. I am so glad i found this forum and found others suffering from some of the same things i have. I have intolerances to: chicken, pork, wheat, vanilla, strawberries, grapes, romaine lettuce, black pepper, cinnamon and the list goes on. These are just a few of the severe items. I was taking claritan d everyday to maintain. Once i had this test and received my results and got off of these foods my life changed!! I no longer need claritan and i have more energy etc. HOWEVER,
I really would like to know what the heck causes the sudden onset of adult allergies. Ive always eaten these items how does one become allergic to all of this. I am going back to my doc for further testing. But now that i know what im allergic to it helps. Oh and i have also seen some others complain about alcohol...that has become an issue for me as well. So i have stopped my social drinking for a while. Any comments advice...let me know.
