Hey guys/girls,

I'm 28, born with an imperforate anus, male, high grade. I very rarely get an erection, and only ever ejaculate copious amounts of urine. Dr's (Urologists) advise there is nothing they can do for this. I'm gay so sexual function is important to my social groups. I cannot receive sex in my Anus because my colon is consistantly full of poo. I generally am consitipated and have moderate control of both my bowel and bladder. My feel is that there isn't alot of advice you can lend but I thought I'd drop a line and see. I am also really interested to understand how people with an imperforate Anus and associated issues cope in ADULT life. It seems many just want to live out there days and be as normal as possible but it's pretty isolating at times.

Cheers

Chris

Wiseimp,
I am sorry to hear about your situation. I understand how it is important in your social group. i am going to ask this because it is not in your post at all. What happens if you take the little blue pills? Does it give you any sort of erection? Is there any sort of response?

That is really the only question I can think of and ask.

Thanks for having a read, I think it's theraputic just getting it out there.
Viagra and Celia are two products I've tried. I find the when I am extreemly aroused, before ejaculation that I am able to maintain more of an erection, normally about 2-3 minutes before ejaculation. Again when i ejactulate, it is copious amounts of Urine, which is why I gnerally don't persue sexual activity. The Urine is a deal breaker for me.

I really responded to your post as well feeling isolated at times and alone in the
Adult world. I would be happy to exchange emails and phone number if you want

Hi. I am a 54 year old female born with imperforate anus. I am married and have 3 children. I am usually consulates which I have been told is probably a blessing. We live our life to an extent around my bm's as I have no control and need to spend a lot of time in the bathroom. I recently have started having pain around my tailbone and some bleeding and discharge, not sure if this is normal or common. Have a new dr -not by choice but by retirement. I am no comfortable with him so don't want to bring this up. Interested to hear of others experiences and your coping mechanisms. I always thought I was the only person like this.

Hi Chris and Nick, I hope that one of you views this post. I am in a similar situation as you both since I too was born with an IA. I'm a 31 year old homosexual male that has been struggling with coming to terms with IA and my sexuality since I can remember. It has been extremely difficult to feel comfortable with my sexuality or sex in general for that matter since I am always paranoid an accident may happen when getting intimate with someone. I am unable to keep a healthy sexual life, or any kind of intimate relationship. IA has interfered not just with my love life but in all aspects of my life. I often struggle to maintain a positive outlook on life in knowing there are simply things IA prevents me from doing like everyone else. This has greatly deteriorated my mental health, especially since my mid 20's. Knowing there are others out there that share my struggles is comforting and doesn't make me feel so isolated. If you are interested in keeping in contact, please respond to my post and we can exchange emails. My thoughts are with you. P

Hi Desiree, Hopefully one day your son will find someone that loves him regardless of his health problem. As for me, I haven't been lucky enough for that yet. Every time a possible date doesn't work out because of my problem it reminds me how difficult it will be for me to find someone that cares, someone that loves me and the baggage I come with. My advice to you is to be there for your son and let him know endlessly how much you love him and how much of a great beautiful person he is regardless of his problem. He is not going to have an easy time when it comes to sex and love so all the support you can give him yhe better. Be strong, P

I know this post is old but there is a Facebook group for people with imperforate anus. I am a mom of a boy with High IA so I'm a part of the parent facebook group. Sometimes the other group comes on and talks with us. The all seem very open and supportive. Try it out sometime. Support groups have been really helpful as aparent. We have such unique issues to talk about and there is often good advice or at least someone happy to listen. Also therapy... a professional to talk to. There are therapists who specialize in sexual health. Hope this helps..

I'm 31 male born with no anus but no oter implications, i was operated and had a good life, however, i cannot control stools. It was a problem when i was kid, but now it is manageable upto 70%. I'm still not comfortable in nights as i don't feel any sense of feces coming out. I'm trying to manage it by controling through diet. Eating less in nights and spend more time in toilet. If any body got cured 100%, then please share the clinic and doctor contact. I'm confident enough of participating in sex, however, I'm looking for 100% cure for this disease.

This is the first time I have ever posted or talked about this. Well I'm 44 male with IA, I usually regulate it with ennemas about once or twice a week depending on my diet. I have absolutely no problem with erections and lasting but the problem is I ejaculate urine??! Going through a divorce right now and worried about being accepted again by someone. Good thing is I have absolutely. No problem meeting women but have to eventually tell my story. As far as regulating stool movements! It's challanging and wish there was a way to just take a pill or something that would flush instead of an enema. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. SL

I'm a 33 male from northern europe with similar type of problem. i will also need to use enemas to keep on going. I definitely have to admit that it's hard to explain women what i´m going through.
