I was about a week late for my period, although i can usually be up to 4 days late usually I've never been this late. Now i am worried that the bleeding i have is implantaition bleeding and not my period. I started yesterday night and have filled up about 3or 4 tampons in about 17 hours. at first the blood was darker color but not when i look at it it is bright red, i never usually get many period symptoms and that hasn't changed this month (small stomach uncosistant cramps and lower back pain) . I am very worried. Does anyone have any indication if this is implantation bleeding or a regular period?!

Well it depends on the size of the tamps, I used to have a regular (period flow) but when I first started getting heavy all I had was regular size and I went through them like nothing. I hadnto use a friend's super and that only lasted a little over 3 hours, after then my period cycle changed. I now have to wear like super plus, and I talked to my doctor about this and he then prescribed me to go on birth control because of my heavy flow. So I would still suggest asking a doctor
