hi, I am new on here, I feel like I am going insane!!! I have had some deja vu episodes and I feel sick and scared when I do.

recently I have had headaches for about a week and a half and I have succeeded in convincing myself that I have brain tumours and migraines and that I am dying. I spoke to my boyfriend about it and he said I need to go.speak to someone, which has made me feel like I'm going mad.

I'm 34 I have 3 kids that I am constantly worried I am going to die and leave them alone.

I'm scared of everything in scared of dying and of living and just in general.

I feel like if I say this to my doc I will get thrown to the funnyfarm!

please help me

I have the same Deja Vu feeling, usually happens in the shower, twice while driving and once when I laid down for a nap. Once I get this feeling I lay down because I usually pass out not long after I start this feeling. I also get the feeling like everything is being sucked out of me (almost like my pressures are dropping) When I wake up I usually feel sweaty and weak and a dull ache in my head. My right eye does twitch often and last year I saw an ophthalmologist because of the flashes in my eyes; which I thought may be vision related but now I wonder. I do have a feeling of fear or doom after each episode. My father had seizures and now I am concern I have inherited this. This has started about two years ago but here recently having more epesodes.

I just had my first episode while weightlifting at gym today. Suddenly felt like I was living in a dream that seems familiar but scary in some way-as if something bad were about to happen. I thought of a person I knew from the gym, the color red, and something about a list at the gym-all in a dejavu foreboding way. I thought I was having an anxiety attack ( I've never had one before) and stopped to drink water. I wasn't physically feeling anything except extremely sweaty suddenly and a feeling of dread. Afterward my mind was clear and more in sync with my surroundings than it had been in a long time. Not sure what to think about this, but I have been having severe headaches lately and TMJ. Maybe it's associated

this just happened to me, and I tried searching for an explanation but I've come up with nothing besides this. I was riding my bike and all of the sudden a certain thought passed through me, I forgot what it was but I was overwhelmed with a sense of stress and I had the worst headache of my entire life. it's almost like a déjà vu only I see something in the future but simultaneously remember it from an earlier period of time. I don't know what it is but I want to stop because it scares me a lot. I still have the headache 10 minutes after it happened.

Symptoms:
Intense Deja Vu feeling
Anxiety
Sweats during and after episode
Been told I went extremely pale
Built up one time to me actually passing out.

After passing out I went through all the eeg and neurological tests for heart issues, tumors and epilepsy and they were negative. Here is what I believe:
Each episode has been either after getting up from sitting for a long while or while I've spent a lot of time at the computer, but not always. I feel that has to do with blood flow and the brain. I've been able to shorten the episodes and make them less frequent by making sure I get up regularly, don't cross my legs under the desk, and when they do happen I put my head between my legs to get the blood flowing there. I would also purposely try to get more sleep the next day. This has been what has worked for me. I think my symptoms most closely compare to Vasovagal Response/Syncope which is commonly misdiagnosed as small deja vu seizures/Epilepsy. I really believe it has to do with my circulation and blood flow to the brain. Other things can cause less blood flow to the brain, like heart issues, but this hasn't been the case for me and has happened since I was very young, on and off with years in between it happening.

Oh my god, you described perfectly, I do the deep breath things and try to remember something else to bring it out, I'm very happy that I'm not alone at that..

hmmm, Its interesting smells tipped this off. as a child, i would have these "flashbacks" every time i saw a wet floor sign at a grocery store. this is no longer a trigger for me, but i still get the feeling at least 3 times a week.

I've been having the same episodes for 20+ years. You describe it to a T. I'm curious if you ever lost consciousness.

I have the same symptoms and I have been told they are a form of migraine aura. They are sometimes brought on by stress and sometimes by certain food "triggers". For me, nitrites and nitrates, and tree nuts, but there is a whole list of foods and food additives that trigger different people,

I forgot to say, for years before I began getting these symptoms in my 40s, I would get jagged, flashing lights in my field of vision. I call it having Vegas in my head. My doctor tells me this is called ocular migraine. Once I began getting the deja vu/dizziness symptoms, and later the actual headaches, I no longegot the ocular symptoms.
