I went to the dentist and had a tooth removed. I had about 6 or 7 injections of novacaine to numb the area.
I was fine until the drug began wearing off where I began to Shake and shiver, perspire, feel nauseous, have chest pains, and have a headache of proportions unfelt before.
This continued for about 36 hours before I began to feel better and two day on I'm still having blinding headaches (Normally I would only ever get a couple of headaches per year and they would be quite mild and gone in very little time).
My query I guess, is this a common and expected reaction to the drug or do I have an allergy to the drug that I should get checked out... Or could it be something else?
