I have been taking Lexapro 20 mg for about a month know. since i have started taking this medication i have noticed that i have been having really bad hot flashes. i sweat so much that i have to keep a towel to clean my face off. Is this maybe a side affect of this medication ! ? I can tell the difference that this medication makes but the hot flashing and excess sweat is getting to be embarassing. please help;.

Have you talked to the doctor about considering going on some other type of medication instead? I know that there's other things that you could take that won't have side-effects like that so it would be a good idea. Please let me know what you decide to go with instead, okay?
