Or if anyone can relate or help I would appreciate a reply. I am 16 years old.
In the past about month or so I have had a loss of appetite. Thinking about food, looking at food, or worst, eating the food, makes me feel very nauseated. I have thrown up a couple times as well and gagged more than I can count. Also when I wake up almost triple the mucus than a usual person has built up in my mouth making me gag to get it out every morning.
I wake up about 3 on average times a night feeling like I need to get up and do something before I go to bed, usually I keep the build up of the mucus down so I don't get it all in the morning. I have constant mood swings not even being on my period and I am not as happy and bubbly as I usually am. I am tired all the time. Should i go to a doctor? Or do you think this is more of a mental thing? I am so dumb founded when it comes to this situation.
Please reply if you can help or have suggestions.

This question needs a few more questions to be answered, babe.
Have you been not eating on purpose?
Have you been throwing up on purpose to not gain weight?
Are you/have you taken any drugs/medication?
Is anything happening re. your sex life?
Are you under any unusual stress?
There are a few Q's to be getting on with, babe!
Umm... mood swings and an intolerant tummy can be nothing unusual...especially as you are a teenager!
Umm.. but do need a bit more information babe...
Hope you are feeling a little bit better today.

ok... great answers to my questions...
That is so cool about you being comfortable enough with your Mum that she has you safe with birth control... at least I hope that it is cool?
Parent stress... sorry babe. Is there anything in particular going on there or do you feel it's just normal angst? ie: you know that, biologically we are all supposed to have problems with our parents.. otherwise we would all stay at home for ever and never move on to propogate our species!..
but is it something more than normal, do you think? Let me know.
Now, physically...what could be happening?
This could just be normal... especially during a break up...and during teenage years but you seem to imply that it is something more physical than emotional, that you are feeling? Am I right?
Have you ever had any food allergies before?
This could possibly be a developing allergy.. Perhaps Gluten... are you finding it is more pronounced (stronger) when you eat certain types of food?
You could try to sample a few foods each time to see what you react to... breads one day... dairy another...red meat... nuts..and so on... This can often help identify a source... Sometimes allergies can kick in a bit later in life..
That being said... A drama in life can change our internal systems for a while...nausea and food aversion (dislike) can often follow a depression...
Glad to hear you are feeling better each day though... I recently had a break up and know how all encompassing it can be...
Regarding seeing a GP... it can't hurt if you are concerned... then you may as well go... put your mind at rest, babe...
Let me know how you are :)
