I am a 55 year old male and have a issue with my penis. While erected it is smaller at the base on one side. I do not know what has caused this and there is no pain but it is not as stiff as it should be. Can anyone advise me of this issue?
I would post a photo but not sure if I can or how.

There are changes that occur through the lifecycle.
If you are truely worried, I'd make an appointment with first your family doctor, and then a urologist, for an examination.
Be aware that he'll probably want to see the differences that you have noticed, and probably will want to see you achieve an erection.
Just be ready for that request.
As for problems with firmness or filling, it's not unusual to have less speedy a response than when you were young.
But only you can identify if this is dramatic enough to be alarming.
Good luck,

I have looked at web sites and have seen many posts of this issue and read what posters say about the solution urologist offer and the knife is not a good fix for me. I wonder if there is something I can do my self? If any one has a solution please let me know.
This issue does not cause pain.
I have heard of penis damage that can cause this but I have not damaged my penis.
I have taken a few photos for others with the same issue or want to view what I am talking about. They may help others understand. I can send to anyone wanting to see this.

If you want to share a photo, post it to an image holding site, like bit bucket, or flicker, and then post the link on this forum so those who want to go see it can. But images posted here will be deleted, cause we don't host or display those types of images as a general policy.
If you have a blockage that may be causing incomplete filling of the blood vessles within the penis, you need to see a doctor.
Sometimes there are things they can do to treat you, both other times the damage is permanent. Go schedule an exam.
