please help, im 16 and have had these symptoms for almost 2 wks. the ones on the clitorus started as cuts and slowly been growing into sores. they look like their heeling, but i really dont think they are. the ones around my vagina theres about 6, all different sized bumps with sores on the top, but they started off as a dry sort of burning sensation. i thought it could've been a reaction to me using a soap to wash 'down there' but now its gotten worse. it all started when i finished my period, and theres also increase of discharge, and a slight odour which isnt helping they sores around my vagina, it actually irritates it more. i had sex about 4 days after they started becasue they seemed like they were going away, but infact i think it made it worse. at first i though it all might jus be a yeast infection but now im starting to think it could be herpes, but if it is i dont see how i could've gotten it. my boyfriend and i have been having un-protected sex for 8months now, he's my 1st sexual partner but he's had 2 before me, he's never had herpes and neither have i. with all of these sores it makes it incredibley difficult for me to walk, sit and is severly disturbing my sleeping patterns. i've had a blood test, urine test, and a vaginal swab last week and find out the results in about 5 days. is their anyone out there that can help me narrow it down to what it could be? i'm so scared to find out what it is and would like some idea's to make me aware or to just calm down my thoughts. please...

hi there i put a post on yesterday saying i had severe burning and also a sharp shooting pain in my vagina so i went to see my gp who took a look and straight away said i had whats called lichen-sclerosus its a fungal infection that can be got at different ages, can come back and my friend too had got it i am 67 and she is aged 60 but its very painful he told me that if im no better i might need to have a skin biopsy you can get this at any age and you can get white lumps that can crack ive been told not to use any soaps or perfume in this area to wear cotton pants not to exercise or ride bicycles will let you know how i go on
