A few months ago I've started having some really uncomfortable itching in my groin area, for some reason, I have ignored it, I can do so no longer though, it has gotten to a very irritating point, and I read everywhere that I should NOT scratch, I decided to start "not" scratching yesterday, the day went great, I didn't scratch once, did my morning exercises, showered, applied some cream my father had prescribed (He's a pharmacist), and it was going somewhat well, however when I went to sleep, I woke up with my hands itching my thighs like there's no tomorrow, and I really didn't intend to initiate this! I'm trying so hard not to scratch, but every where I look on the internet I read about people suffering for years! I'm only a few months in and I'm that irritated! If someone has had any luck curing this itch, PLEASE reply ASAP.

I had the same thing (like a heat rash with welts).I was not used to this kind of thing. I thought it was heat rash! I used antihistamine creams, Gold Bond cream, anti fungal...nothing worked ...until I went to my doctor(my usual female doc was on vacation) and the male doctor prescribed a cream that worked right away. What was there for 3 summer months was gone in 3 days. Ketoconazole cream. Little tube BIG HELP! I paid around 30 bucks for it. It is not like miconazole creams. This stuff is potent. Much more potent. No more itch!!!!!YES! RELIEF!!!
