I'm 21 years old , since a year and a half i've been suffering from pain in my left testicular , i went to several doctors and at first they told me that it's an epididymitis inflammation, i took medicin for 3 months and it was the ofloxocin and the pain didnt disapear . the kind of pain that im suffering is not chronic it comes and fades away alone ,when it dissapears u dont feal any pain but when it comes it's very painful with fever and lowerback pain also . i visited the doctor recently and i did the ultrasound check and it appears that i had a lump in my left testicular that is 0.8 mm and it full of liquid as the doctor tells me and he told me that all the pain im suffering is from that lump and if it hurts me i can take it with surgery . I dont know realy if the lump is the reason why i suffer this pain so please doctor if you can help u'll make me the wish of my life that i will not ever suffer that pain or experience it again . :'( :'( :'(

Well, most cysts don’t cause such strong symptoms but they could. Is the cyst your doctor mentioned situated on top of testicular tube and filled with dead sperm cells or he mentioned something else? The cyst I mentioned is called spermatocele and is annoying only if it grows to be large and is irritated by the cloths or something like that.
That is at least what I have been reading about when I had similar symptoms. I also had sudden sharp pains in the lower back, radiating to the groins and testicles. I was diagnosed with kidney stones but I am not sure if they are so common in younger men.
Tests done to diagnose a kidney stone would be blood tests, possibly urine tests, an ultrasound, CT scan. An ultrasound could spot large stones but not the small ones that have already left the kidneys and started moving around the body.
