Hi, im 16, i have a lump next to my left testicle. Im pretty sure its not attached to my testicle. When i feel it i can both sides of it, i can get my finger under it. Its not on the side or below the testicle. I was wondering if it was a cyst because im pretty sure its attached to a tube but im not positive. I dont no much about this topic. I was just wondering if somone could help. I thinking of talking to my parents about itand maybe go to the doctors.
Thanks for reading - Any views or thoughs would be nice.

Talking to your parents and seeing a doctor would be a good idea. If the bump is not attached to the testicle then it can’t be testicular cancer.
It could be a cyst called spermatocele. They appear on the tubes that lie on the testicles but they usually form in older man. These cysts are harmless and may cause discomfort only if they become very big. They are usually left as they are.
You could be also feeling an anatomical bump because these tubes I have already mentioned that cysts may form on are naturally lumpy. Because they are very long, they are curled up and attached to the testicle’s back side. So, you could be feeing one of these natural bumps.
Now, I just wanted to put your mind at ease until you saw a doc. Remember that any bump found around genitals needs to be seen by a doctor.
