Lipitor atorvastatin causing migraine headaches?

Never had bad headaches until I started talking other statin drug suffered for 2 years, nothing helped but prednisone finally stopped taking the statin after diagnosis with cancer and lost 70 pounds everything went away, had heart attack back in June 2021 told dr’s could not take statin drugs put on atorvastatin 40 mg daily anyway now headaches are back and none of them care don’t know what to do. Yep, that’s how zi came across this site. Researching… Started Atorvastatin, after 4-5 days, terrible weird headaches. Never had headaches before. Stopped taking it and haven’t had one since.

I've had the same problem with headaches. I started off with 10mg and got some headaches but at the time I didn't think much of it. When I went to 20mg the headaches got much worse and I couldn't get rid of them with my normal medicine. It was awful. I stopped taking it and the headaches disappeared.
