Living with liver mets and breast cancer

Hi,

I’m hoping to connect with more people in my situation - I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer two years ago, and the last year it was also discovered that I have several metastasis on my liver and on my bones. So far my oncologist is not considering surgery, I’m only on  Abraxane chemo. If anyone told me before that I’d continue to live with liver mets I honestly wouldn’t believe it’s possible, but here I am, still alive and on chronic chemo treatment. Of course, the liver mets alone cause me several big issues, mainly my stomach distending to enormous proportions, but chemo seems to be working OK so far. If you’re in the same place, I’d love to hear your experiences.
