My mom is fighting ovarian cancer for two years now. She had both total hysterectomy and both her ovaries are removed and all that was followed by 6 rounds of Carbo/ Taxol chemo. It seemed like that was enough and she was in remission up until this point. She had regular cat scan which showed she has some spots on her liver, and they are going to perform biopsy to see if they are benign or is it ovarian cancer metastasis. If anyone knows, how big are the chances that these spots on liver are cancerous? And if they are, what treatment options will she have? Will it be chemotherapy again?
