Hello everybody,

My mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer three years ago and we’ve been fighting ever since then. She was in remission for almost a year, after her ovaries were completely removed and 6 rounds of Carbo/Taxol chemo. Unfortunately now the cancer is back and there are two metastasis on her liver and one on her spleen. To make things worse, liver mets are not suitable for surgery, as her oncologist said, but at least one on the spleen will be removed. The problem we’re facing now is that her oncologist wants to go for another round of chemo, while we’re hoping to get a second opinion to see if there is a chance that targeted radiation therapy could kill only mets cells. Any experience or advice on what should we do is much appreciated!
