Well lets see I started my period around May 15 and its still going and its June 11. I havent been able to go to the doctor yet because im just getting ready to graduate from College and have been busy. It was very heavy for the first week and up until otday i thought it was stopping because it got lighter and lighter, but then i woke up today and it was horridly heavy again.
My periods have always been irregular, and I do not have birth control due to money issues. I have been having sex for a few weeks (on my really light days) and its been my first times with sex. We have used a spermicidle condom everytime.
Sometimes I get sharp pains in my side, and i feel nausea and sometimes even vomit in the morning, I dont think im pregnant at all, Ive taken an HPT and it came back negative. Could it have been pregnancy anyways?
What could this be? I just want it to stop.... 8-|

Hi Hon: You HAVE to go to the doctor OK? I truly think it is Cystic Ovaries, the pain the nausea, and the constant bleeding definitely leads towards that. Also due to your irregular periods, it could also be endemeterosis(sp) either way your ovaries are involved. So take an hour or so too get too the doctors - NOTHING should take away from this OK? Then get checked out - I'm also worried about blood loss if you are bleeding heavily. So get checked out, THEN Graduate and Congratulations and good luck. Let me know how things go OK?

For how long should period last in your opinion? Since in my opinion, that is not normal. Having a period more than 10 days is a sign that there is something wrong with you and your body. Let me tell you my story. My period was late and then, after 10 days it was finally there. Anyway, I was happy about it, but then I saw that after 12 days my period is still there. It never ends. Suddenly, I went to the bathroom and a huge blood clot came out of me. Immediately I visited my doctor and he checked me and told me that I had a miscarriage. He "cleaned" me completely. You should go to the doctor.

After work tomorrow I think i will be sceduling an appointment with my doctor to get checked out, because it has deffently got worse today. And I will reply and let you know how it goes and what not. But thank you again.

Hi MisStitch, I noticed that it has been awhile since you last posted. I'm curious to hear how it went with your doctor if you have been already because what bambi27 posted sounds right. Are you still suffering from any symptoms or was the doctor able to help, or have you even gotten to see a doctor yet? In any case, just let me know as soon as you can because I'm curious to hear how this turns out for you! Also, did you know that some clinics provide free birth control? It might be worth looking into! Thanks again for keeping us posted.
