Hi, I have had a lump under my tongue on the right hand side (on the floor of my mouth) for about 2 years now. It doesnt hurt and I only found it by chance. I went to the dentist and he told me it was a blocked saliva gland and I should massage it with my tongue. I do that a lot and there has been no improvement in size whatsoever.
I have since changed dentist and the new one who looks in my mouth for all of 10 seconds has never mentioned it at all. I suffer with ulcers in my mouth regularly and they normally occur in the same place and can be the size of a 5p. I have also told my new dentist this and he tells me to take a vitamin supplement. Still no improvement.
Am I being paranoid there there could be an underlying problem? How do I get my dentist to take me more seriously!!!???

Thanks

Kim
