So my period was due 2 days ago and it still hasnt come im getting light cramps and breast/niple tenderness me and my partner had unprotected sex on my most fertile day which was the 2nd april and we had it before then and many days afterwards aswell am i pregnant as me and my partner have been trying for a while for my son to have a sibling but is it to early to do a pregnancy test? Please some1 help

Hi JordanOlliesMum,

Anytime you have unprotected sex, as you know, there is always a chance of pregnancy occurring. Having unprotected close to, on and after your most fertile days increases those chances of conception considerably as sperm is viable for 5 or so days inside the cervix.

You will have to wait about 4 weeks or so after sex to check with a test if you are indeed pregnant. If you have forgotten remember to use your first pee of the day to take your test as this has the highest concentration of HCG.
