i'm pretty sure they make them in ten mg. since you take 60 mg. aday you can 10mg. 3 x aday insted of 5mg. 6x aday.

If generics allow +20% to -15% that means a person taking 6 of the 10mg doses at the higher FDA allowance is getting 6 pills at 12 mg. or 72 mg. then switching to a brand that's 15% less that's 8.5 mg. per pill so 6 pills would be 51 mg. in 6 supposedly 10 mg. pills...see the problem? They just went from 72 mg daily to 51 mg daily, and that's still taking what people say is the same, yes, same methadone, but way less per day, of course they feel like c**p their dose dropped 35% thanks to the FDA ...

That is. Not true I know many who are on a meth program that still use and it doe not make them I'll. it can however block some if the effects of the illegal drugs they take but trust me they still get high! The difference between dose and done is just the fillers/ inactive ingredients. I have been on both and honestly there is no difference one is white disk one is orange or was orange back I. The 80's I have been on it for 20 years and in one hand it gave me my life back and I have not used and illegal substance since in the other it has kept me a prisoner where I must go to clinic to get my meds. I am lucky to be one of a few who get meds on a monthly basis where others must go anywhere from 6x a week to 1 x a week. My suggestion I'd find another alternative because it is highly addicting and extremely difficult to detox. I wish I would have know that before I started. Trust me the pain if heroin withdrawal is a walk in the park compared to methadone/dose.

If you want to take methadone for pain I would listen to your doctor, Methadone has many side effects. First of all it gets into ur bones, hard to come off of, weight gain, constipation and it affects your teeth. I'm not sure where your from but here in Canada methadone is dispensed in liquid form unless patient asks for tablets. If you can stay away from Methadone please do so going on it was the worst decision I've ever made.

I am detoxing from methadose and am using heroin to do it with the odd valium, liquid calcium, and cycops. I am on day 8 without any methadose, and using a half point of down in the morning and a half at night. (heroin being the lesser evil). Funny thing is that I got on methadose to get off heroin. But when I tried to go to detox to get off the methadose, they saID NO..So I thought, wait, if I use heroin to get off methadose, then I can go to detox to get off the heroin (lesser evil again. My question is. How long will I have to do the heroin before I'm safe to go to detox for the heroin and not the methadose?

I have been on methadone 10 yrs and was switched to methadose a while back without them telling me. I have for 9 months been experiencing changes and the last three months have been terrible. I went from being clean to using as I thought I was losing my mind because it wasn't working anymore. Also they told me I was going through menopause, which it actually turns out my body has been in perpetual withdrawl, which has effected menstration and mental health and constant temperature changes amongst other things. So know one can tell me there isn't a difference. This switch has disrupted my life and because I was not aware of it , thought I was going crazy. I feel like a lab rat and that my dignaty has been compromised bit by bit. I often feel I would have been better off living as a junkie and overdosing as oppose to going through perpetual hell while going to work 6 days a week and raising two children, feeling like I'm not worthy of life. Fortunately these two little lives are the reason I don't give up and go back to what I know best. But I really feel as this was a matter of public safety that should have been addressed way better than it was. Sorry for the rant but I feel alone and am surrounded by ppl who do not understand. I have been switched to methadose from methadone ,have been on the methadone for 20yrs. & find the methadose to be alot less staying power ,I was fine for all that time & now am suffering terribly my dr. thinks that everyon is just feeling that way because of the small amount,beleive me it is not the amount! Should have known better than to put my life in the governments hands ,look what they have done to our country.It,s no wonder people are taking drugs,anyways ,I have no alternatives,being a drug addict you lose all rights ,say anything they will cut you off,they consider that you are a liar,they make you go to a special window & witness your taking of it,feel like putting on a yellow armband like when the jews we,re segragated ,it,s a proven fact that when you do that those people feel less than ,Oh well sorry for the rant.

liquid methadone for clinic use is not at all the same as solid form it is 90% nmda antagonist another words you are getting only 10% opiod active methadone and 90% of the s-enantionmer or non opiod d-isomer this d-isomer shuts off opiate receptors,etends the duration of what liitle opiod effect ther is and inhibits the occurance of resistance or you mighyt call liquid methadone complete garbage ,yes we have been misled this is true and tha whole thing is one giant fraud check your info . the above info appears on numerous pharma science websites the manufacturers claim they can get away with this because tchnically it is methadone.
