I was just put on methadone 2 weeks ago I was told by the RX. that it only comes in 5 & 10 mg. I have filled mine twice at 2 different locations and they were different shapes one was a rectangle shaped pill the other was a small white pill hope this helps you. FREEZERBURN

big round white or orage pill with a cross thru the the entire pill and it says methadose on one side.

They only come in 5, 10 & 40 mg tablets. The 5 & 10mg are either round or rectangle in shape. The 40mg tablets are very large and round, they are normally only given to adicts though.

No there not just for addicts there for pain also and when used for ADDICTS THERE LIFE changes for the better it saved me from using heroin in a needle and tricking at 18 now, 5yrs later I live a normal life thank you for your judgment though.

I'm going to try and change that "sh*t" The only person that can judge you is GOD. You continue on my friend,because what somebody else is thinking is surly not our buisness :)

To the person that told the other person on here "thanks for the judgement though"is just a complete id**t. Is methadone used to help addicts? Yes it is but, it also is used for pain as well. It wasnt made for the purpose of helping herion addicts. It was made because back there was a shortage of opium that was given to people for pain during the war. It was later found that it was highly addictive and once a tolerance was built people had to be weaned off slowly. It helps recovering addicts get their life back on track and learn how to live a normal life without the risk of overdosing, going to jail and theft. There are still Dr's that prescribe it for pain as well. People need to get their facts straight before they comment or judge other people.
