I have the same problem everyone is describing here. Woke up one morning and the inner corner of my left eye (underneath part) was tender and looked swollen. Throughout the day the swelling went away but the next morning my eye was worse. Could feel pain when I blinked and the swelling had increased and looked purple. I want to mention I had itchy eyes before this all started and sinus pressure that was mild but my allergy tests said I wasn't allergic to anything. I am going to follow the advice of putting hot compresses on it a couple time a day and get an eye dropper and see if that helps.

I have the exact same problem. It hurt a little last night and now it is a sharp pain whenever I blink. It's mainly in the middle of my lower lid

I'm having some of the same issues but only under my eye and corner by nose its painful and turns black and burning sensation like I just got burned. Lol like I been hit in the eye. Its strange because once the swelling starts the spot turns black. I put aloe and witch hazel and the blackness sheds but still have scar. It comes back every couple mths seem like it. Do anyone have any idea. Some grease popped under eye but mths ago. But I don't know what flares it back up

My eye pain was diagnosed as trigeminal neuralgia. I take medication with painkillers to keep it under control.

Lilttle yellow bump on my eyelid(bottom) scraped it off good with a q tip.. Washed overnight went away just don't bug it ..

I think you are most close to the answer. Blocked tear duct. I'm currently dealing with this now, and I definitely wear my share of make up. Also my friend's son had it occur twice, improve first time with warm compresses and antibiotics, then had to have the tear duct flushed under anesthesia. Ton of pus came out. All better! I'm doing warm compresses for a few days, then if no improvement, doc appt.
