This morning a red painful bump occurred on my eyelid. It looks like a pimple. It is very uncomfortable. Should I go to ER or just wait?

I had it once it is a stye; well most bumps on the eyelid are styes. A stye is an inflamed oil gland on the edge of your eyelid, where the lash meets the lid. It appears as a red, swollen bump and tender, especially to touch. You can wait because they usually develop over a few days and may drain and heal on their own. Other possible eyelid bumps include: papillomas, pink or skin colored bumps, harmless or cysts, small fluid-filled sacs that can affect your vision. Anyway doctor should evaluate bump on your eyelid.
