Hello.
I have been on the pill for 10 months now. I came off my period last Sunday (1st april) and everything had been normal.
Me and my boyfriend had sex on the Tuesday and he came in me, afterwards i had very severe cramps, so bad i couldn't move. I kept feeling cramps for the rest of the week but not severe more a dull ache. I also was feeling very nauseous and had bad headaches. On the Friday we had sex again although he did not cum in me but the orgasm was very intense which again left me with very painful cramps. The following Saturday I started bleeding and have been heavily bleeding since.
On the Friday and Saturday I did not take my pill due to us going away for the weekend and i forgot it. I took the 2 pills yesterday (sunday) as well as the one for that day.
I have been very nauseous, headaches, cramps and then the heavy bleeding.
What could this be?

Thanks for looking.

Are you sure you are not pregnant? Also if you miss pills you should not take 2 in the same day... you should just take them everyday on time and miss your 7 day break to ensure he pill is effective... use a condom as your missed your pills because it will not be effective until you have taken your pills for a following 7 days on time.

Also go to your doctor and tell them your symptoms as there may be something wrong but the first pill I took was microgynon 30 and I had all those symptoms as the brand did not agree with me. Now I am on celeste and I don't get that anymore.

Most pills info says you that if you miss one pill you take two the next day. but read the facts for your own birth control, it may be different

every pill i have ever been on, or leaflet i have read for that matter, says that if you miss a pill DO NOT take multiple pills the following day, just take them normally and use extra protection as the pill will not be as effective. Its pretty much the same with any medication as far as I know, they are prescribed at a specific dosage and taking more than that (eg. taking 2 pills to make up for a missed one) stuffs up the amount you are supposed to have and can cause side effects

Well you clearly haven't been on every pill because the ones I have been on have both said double up on your dose if you've missed one. So instead of arguing with the person's advice before yours, and giving other people false info, maybe you could accept you don't know everything there is to know about birth control. No matter how many different kinds you've sampled.

I've been on 5 different pills all of which you can take two in one day if you forgot.

Stopping asking yourself or someone else for help. Take a hpt or go to the nearest clinic where they do free pregnancy test you might be experiencing some health problems or you might be pregnant with some abnormal symptoms and I dnt know why you keep asking yourself or being here typing your question instead of going to a clinic. Hope this helps to clear your mind. Good luck and have a good day!!!
