I have a question... Ive just started taking the pill (I'm taking Yasmin) and missed 2 pills- one on the last day of week 2, and one the next day, the first day of week 3. I'd like to know how much that increases my risk of becoming pregnant? Also, I started taking the pill again the following day, at the normal time, but I have had quite heavy bleeding... is that normal?

I started taking the pill on the 11th Feb, the first day of my period. I missed the pill on the 24th and 25th of Feb and have been bleeding since then!

This is iffy! I have gone to several sites - including Yaz's it says IF you miss 2 day you MIGHT get pregnant without condom's! So I have concerned a LITTLE bit about you being pregnant! I can't find ANY agreeing information on how quickly Yaz works! A lot of sites say it starts working after 7 days! So unfortunately you will have to wait till your period is due! I THINK you are OK! But due to the missed pills it defintiely increases your chance of becoming pregnant! Sorry I can't be more certain - it's a hit and miss with "oops's" so hang in there and please let me know how you make out OK?
