Mole on Penis

Hi, im 16 years old, and about a year and a half i noticed this small (1/6 inch) mole on my penis shaft. Its raised, smooth and sitting right on top of the foreskin. It is a perfect circle and It hasn't ever hurt me and i haven't seen any change at all except for maybe the color. Im not sure but it looks like it might have turned from a pinkish red to a brown color, i cant remember if it has always been this color or not. Im getting a physical in august and im wondering if i should ask my doctor about it, would he know anything about it? Im worrying over it a lot and its embarrassing to ask anyone in my family about it.
