I took the MAP after having unprotected sex around 3 weeks ago.

A week after taking the pill, I started to get my period. This is only two weeks after finishing my natural cycle.

The period/bleeding started nearly two weeks ago, I am starting to get concerned as my normal period does not last longer than 5 days and I usually experience some cramping. This bleeding is very light but also quite heavy at irregular times. I've had no cramping or other symptoms of a period.

This is the second time I've used the MAP in the last 3 months. I am now regretting not having an IUD fitted a second time.

Can anyone give me some advice on what might be happening?
