My sister, 23 years old, has diagnosed lupus. Doctors have explained to my family that is the hereditary, an autoimmune disease, some kind of self-allergy, where my sister's immune system creates antibodies, which attack her own body muscles and articles. She is loosing her strength every day, have joint pains and terrible muscle aches. Does any body experience with this kind of muscle inflammation?

Hi, muscle inflammation means that muscle is using protective process from different kinds of trauma. Process of inflammation helps to eliminate a foreign body, viruses, or bacteria and to prevent further injury. Symptoms of inflammation include swelling, redness, warmth and pain, together with changed function of muscle and weakness. Unfortunately, these symptoms do not go away and all therapy is based on reducing these discomforts due the inflammation.
