I am a 25 year old female and have a pretty embarassing question that I am unsure if I should go to a doctor for. Relatively recently my husband and I were having intercourse and towards the end all of muscles in my face began to feel extremely numb and the muscles and tendons in my thumbs locked into an inward across the palm position. I literally could not move my thumbs until I stretched them out and got my muscles to relax! This has never happened to me before this time and it was very odd and it scared me greatly. It has not happened after that night but I am worried that it could be a sign of something more serious. Does anyone have any thoughts or had anything similar happen to them? Should I speak to a doctor about this? I do not have insurance so it could be a finacial concern for me. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
