Hello, folks. I have a dilemma. I’ve been married for 10 years and my wife and I have a daughter that is 8 years old. She is perfectly healthy now. I have found out that I am a carrier of hereditary cancer gene, but I haven’t told that to my family. Should I tell them? I would appreciate your advices. Bye!

Hi, there. I think you should tell your wife. She has been with you for so long and I am sure she will understand. Your daughter is maybe too young for that. When she grows up, she has the right to know. Maybe she carries that gene too. She must investigate that later in her life. Maybe, you should investigate now, take her to a doctor. I hope everything will be all right. Good luck!
