My 14 year old daughter has complained to me, about three times now, that her vision has been bluring in a strange way. She says that it has been bluring in an echo. For example, she can see her hand move in real time and every movement it made for about one second ago. Like an echo of her movements or anything she is looking at that is moving. It only lasts for a few minutes then goes away. She has great vision with no correction and does not experience a headache with or after these episodes. I have never heard of this before and can not find anything on the Internet about this. I would be very thankful for any information you could give me about this or why it's happening.

Since she is in puberty maybe this is happening because her body started to develop.

Is she involved in any type of sports? Maybe physical straining can cause something like this. I remember that I used to pass out when I was teenager when I was playing basketball for a long period of time. As well my vision was blured when I was avoiding my breakfast so check if she is eating properly three times a day.

If you have all this covered and the blurry vision is still appear than you don’t have any other choice but to see a doctor. After all you will at least be sure that she is fine and you will stop to worry.
