my labia minora is itchy and swollen

That's what happen to me a while ago it felt so much better wen I itched it but it just got worse it later stoped wen I put vasaline on it and resisted the itching so watever u do don't scratch or rub it but get some kind of cream also good luck

same thing has been happening to me, apparently this is very common (feeling relieved about that). i am itching, swelling (only on the left side), on my period, and it burns to pee. thank you to everyone for the advice and i hope  everyone gets better! 

Same thing has been happening to me for 2 days now and today the itching is worse and any type of cream dosent help it much not as swollen as it was yesterday but uber itchy today this is the second time it has happend to me this year. the first time was in may after i got my IUD put it. Then this time happend not to long after I got my IUD checked. I have never had a baby and i haven't had sex in over a year. I was thinking it could be my IUD but it might be my soa, but i have been using the same soap forever i haven't changed it the ingerdients haven't changed either. It sucks because my husband is going to be coming home from deployment in 4 days and i had such big plans for us but if its like this i don't think we are going to be able to have sex. :(

The same thing.happened to me! It was itchy and I scratched not thinking much of it and all of a sudden it was swollen really bad! Sit in a bath tub with really warm, but not.burning hot water for about 10 minutes, and just apply a really warm wet clean cloth on it, it brought the swelling down for me. Hope it works!

I think I jave the same thinmg only my labia looks like a huge water blister. Idk if that is what everyone is talkin about but its really uncomfortable and I put a cold rag on and it stopped thee itching but should I be worried about the water blister look

this is what happened to me (actually right now). Its like a diaper rash. the pad was wet and now its irritated. i dont know what to do, so im wearing boxers.

From scratching you could have made a cut or pop a vessel. You could have a minor yeast infection and that's where the itching and swelling are coming from.

Its happening to me now but im 17 and sexually active and i just had sex with my new boyfriend a week or so ago and it just started about 2 days ago when i started bleeding. iI also use tampons and never pads and the tampons always give me problems but i cant use pads bc i bleed so heavy.. i looked it up and all i can come up with is infections and stds and i hope to god its not an std. Im so scared and i dont want to tell me parents. im going to go try to see my gyn tomorrow if i can and see what it is. im freaking out. i told my boyfriend about it and he didnt really say anything i asked him if had been checked in awhile or if he knew he had anything and he said no to both. im going to be so mad if he gave me something !!!!

I honestly left a tampon in for too long and i started itching in hobby lobby and it got embarressing so i checked in the restroom and it was like abnormaly bigger so thank god i found this page! im not sexually active either, i got scared so bad!!

Hi All, I had the same problem, but I suggest all you to go see a doctor. Mine started 3 days ago, it was swallen and painfull, but not itchy. I went to see a doctor and she said there is a infection in minour lubia and I can not give you any medicine for this. She said: I have to go to hospital and by small surgery they have to open the area and infection can be drained. I ended up with doing surgery and I am feeling ok now. I just had a throw up and headache for two days becuase of the medicine was given to me to sleep before surgery, otherwise it was easy syrgery. I thought maybe this help to you guys, becuase I had very hard time facing this issue.

Omg! Thanks guys, I'm only 15 but I have this problem and I now from reading this i was probably making it worse by washing  it with soap... it drives me insane! Not itching is really beginning to help though I hope it gets better soon! I didnt want to tell my mum or go to the doctor because I dont want to be answering questions. Thank you so much!

My left labia majora has been itching the for past two days and im freaking out!! i just got off the phone with a triage nurse who told me to go to the doctors asap and for tonight just use cold compresses like aveeno oatmeal in the meantime. 

im going to the doctors tomorrow morning. hoping its not chlamydia
