My son is seven years old and he has already problems in his life. He is suffering from asthma and uses Seretide Accuhaler. In the beginning there was no problem, but lately I have noticed that he has some lip swelling from time to time and his breathing seems heavier but also occasionally. What do I do if my little patient can’t use its Accuhaler properly?

Well, I don’t think he does not use his accuhaler properly. I mean, he has been using it for some time and there weren’t any problems in the beginning, as you have said. It is possible that he has some late allergic reaction to the Seretide and the symptoms of that include both lip swelling and breathing difficulties. Perhaps you should take him to the doctor again and see what he will say.
