I was recently diagnosed with herpes as well. You have to be careful bc if you have sores that means you are having an outbreak. And seman can cause one. It can also cause a bacterial infection which is common when you are fisrt diagnosed with herpes as well. Your body is all out of wack. It took me about a month to feel better.
