Okay, so, I've had a lot of discharge for a long time. It's so much that it feels almost like I just got my period! It's embarassing and annoying, having to run to the bathroom, just to clean up. Is there a cause for this?

first if you are sexually active you should be tested for an STD.
If all is well there, could be multiple reason:
some women discharge alot more when they are ovulating. From what I have been told about myself:
you could have an overactive cervix. Ususally the small hairs inside the cervix are not in the vaginal cavitily, but if they pop out a bit they go nuts because they detect a different environment that they are used to, thus discreeting more fluid (discharge). I was given the option of cryothearopy, I declined, its a freezing, deadening of your cervix, could make matters worse, buy pany liners and be happy your healthy.

Thankyou very much! I am not sexually active, but maybe it's just an overactive cervix. That's not horrible, is it?
