Hi,
I am writing this for my girlfriend. She first started having pain in her neck, on the back right side. Nothing helped. Used all the creams and pain meds. Started to get worse a couple months ago. Pain got worse in neck and radiating to right shoulder and down her right arm. Pain gets really bad and nothing will help. pain goes down to about the elbow, but sometimes the whole arm will hurt. It is a constant nagging pain.
Has anyone had this problem? She has a bulging disc in her lower back. Degenerative Joint disease in lower back and right knee. Her family does have a history of bone and joint problems. We are still looking for a doctor after her's left the State of Indiana and did not tell his patients. We have been turned down by all but two doctors. the only problem is our income and no insurance and the doctor that said she would take us has a 200.00 office visit. Did not think it would be so hard to find a good doctor. The one doctor that we do like and he said would take my girlfriend, but the Office Manager refuses to let her see the doctor for some reason. My girlfriend is 33 years old. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

I'm sorry to hear that she is not doing well but you need to press the office manager as to why she cannot see the doctor. It sounds like she needs care and that would help her a lot. DO you think you can go back to the OM and be firm?

It sounds like she is suffering from a disc issue, carpel tunnel or Fibromyalgia. Sometimes it can be several issues all working together. I know I've been there.
I noticed that you were from Indiana. What part?
The surgeon I went to is located in Kokomo, IN. Dr. Thomas Reilly. While I was his patient he was associated with the Indiana Spine Group in Indianapolis.
Dr Reilly is an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him. I don't know about him seeing you without insurance.
I have been to several other "surgeons" and nuerologists that I could recommend but I need to know where you are located in Indiana first.
Hope this helps.
