I want to know if anyone has a similar story to me: I got my nexplanon removed 2/26 and had a period 3/5-3/8. I had the birth control since 2012 (it was replaced 4/2016) so I don't have a regular cycle yet. My husband and I have had unprotected sex since removal and I am now 3 weeks late for my expected cycle. I am not sure if this is a common side effect for the nexplanon removal. I have had 4 negative urine tests and 1 negative blood test. I do feel extremely tired and nauseous and just started feeling cramps today, but only on my right side. Can anyone relate to my situation?? I feel as if I am pregnant, but I also hope to be pregnant so am not sure if it is just in my head or not.
