I had an Cervical Spine MRI done because of neck and arm pain with tingly and numbness of finger. The doctor said this could be a Nerve sheath Tumor or a synoval cyst. i got to get another MRI with gadolinium. what are the procedures I'm very nervous.

The gadolinium is a contrast agent. It will help highlight certain items in the MRI.

You indicate that you've already had an MRI. This will be just like the one you had before except you will be given an IV of gadonlinium shortly before the exam.

Hope it helps.
