I came across this while search symptoms of what I experienced. This is exactly what has been happenig with me. I'm 31 and I've been getting them since I was a child. They started happening to more frequently recently and more intensly. I'm glad that it's not all in my head and that there are ppl experiencing the same.
I have never taken any recreational drugs (someone up thread asked) and as I said they've been happening since I was a child, so def. not a symptom of drug use.

Hello there, I feel the same way! I would really like to talk to someone about this.

You most closely described my experiences except the feeling I get before one comes in is like having my blood turning to acid with a strange burning sensation that comes & goes in a matter of seconds. Then it's like deja vu, remembering something I've done, and when it passes I'm left feeling almost wasted with nausea. My last one, yesterday, caused me to upchuck my entire breakfast. Vomiting is rare but is has happened. It occurred once while I was driving and as I approached a section of my road I remember dreaming the very scene I was seeing and was hit with the attack. I've started having these in 2007 when I was under extreme stress. I retired in 2011 but they continued. I often think they're repressed memories trying to break out but if that's the case I don't want them. Anything that bad is best left locked up as there's nothing that can be done to change whatever it was. My attacks usually come while I'm in the shower, but they have come while working in my shop, and in that one instance while driving. Luckily it never interferes with my ability to function but when I'm in the shower I just let it run it's course. I'm very glad I found this site. This isn't as rare an event as I (we) thought and since it doesn't seem to cause any problems other than the nausea and occasional vomiting I don't really worry about it. Always nice to know that others share the same symptoms.

Holy sh*t!!!! I SWEAR on everything that I have experienced the same thing!! I smoked every now and then with the guy I was seeing. It was always mid and made me sleepy. Well, couple months ago I smoked with some friends and I actually didn't feel high at first. We were in the car and a certain song came on the radio and my Deja bu was triggered!!! Everything he they were doing and saying were as if I had seriously been there before already. I started to panic and halucinate. It was a really bad night but it never happened ago. No more Dena vu. Until I smoked a couple weeks ago and the same sh*t happened. And now I get bad and intense Deja vu EVERYDAY since then and I haven't smoked since Dec 5. Idk what's wrong with me.
