I am 9.5 weeks pregnant, and I have been spotting very lightly for about 3 weeks. The blood is brown, and I only see it when I wipe (TMI sorry) and only once a day, some days not at all.

 

I wouldn't be concerned about this as I know it can be common, but the problem is that I went for my first transvaginal ultrasound at about 8.5 weeks and they found a sac but no fetus. I have heard that some women find the fetus a week or two later. So neither of these problems individually cause worry, but both together is odd. I have no cramping, still have morning sickness and tender boobs, metal taste in my mouth and everything.

 

Could I still have hope that the baby is alive?
